About

The docutools.pro editorial team is made up of subject-matter writers covering German e-invoicing — XRechnung, ZUGFeRD/Factur-X and the European standard EN 16931 — as well as developer tooling. We anchor our writing to the official sources: EU Directive 2014/55/EU, the E-Rechnungsverordnung (ERechV), § 14 UStG as amended by the Wachstumschancengesetz, and the validation rules published by KOSIT. Our guides grow out of building the tools themselves — the same ones that parse XRechnung files, validate them against the KOSIT rules and extract embedded XML from ZUGFeRD PDFs — so businesses can confidently meet the legal e-invoicing mandate. docutools.pro is operated by Blue Cala Films in Eschborn, Germany.
